Mid-way reminder....

Here is a little reminder about our
challenge at
this month!

The theme is

Clean and Simple
There are many different kinds of card making styles and clean and simple is one of them.  However, not everyone sees clean and simple the same way.  For some it might mean an uncluttered design with lots of white space, for others it might be a very simple layout but with a few embellishments here and there.  For the purposes of our challenge this month, we'd like to see a very simple layout with either a minimum of embellishments or none at all, allowing the focus of your creation to be a well coloured image.  Bring on the white space and show us what you've got.

I have used this adorable fox
called Foxy Love
(I am so in love...)

For me this is a CAS card. Only one layer of paper, a sentiment and 6 black rhinestones + image. I have coloured with ProMarkers.

I must say that I love this paper too. It´s and old Senice Route.

Hope I could inspire you to try to create a CAS card,
So come and join us at Scribbles Design!

Oh NO....

I totally forgot to press on the publishing button for two challenges. How is that even possible???
It´s maybe time to retire?

First up

has started a new challenge

This fortnights theme is:

Anything Goes
optional twist: Shape up
(no rectangle or square cards)

I have used a stamp called Frieda Flapper
preview

If you want to celebrate something or someone,
I think she is the perfect image for those cards. She simply look so happy, don´t you think? (I am also a big fan of the 20´s, could you tell?)

I designed a card in the shape of a bottle. I had a look through internet and found a bottle I liked. I draw it on a piece of white cardstock. Added different pattern papers and then cut it out. Glued it on black cardstock. Added Frieda Flapper and then cut around them to get the shape of the card.

This is how it turned out:

The sentiment is a freebie from Create with TCL. Thank you Paulette!

I have colour the image with ProMarkers. Added some sequins and put a red rhinestone in the middle of them.

Hope you have a great week!

Quality time with my dd

Hi again,

Hubby and son went and watched some ice-hockey today
so my dd and I got some time to scrap together.

She turns 8 next week and I love how creative she has become.
We just found Rob´s Art Hub, and she loves to watch the videos
and make her own copies of the art projects.

Today I made another card with a lot of spots.

I used an image I had for a long time but that I have never used. I love this cheeky little frog. I got him from Meljen´s Design. Isn´t he gorgeous?

I have coloured with ProMarkers and some Faber Castell pencils.
I added a little bit of shimmer on his spots with a green gel pen.

Decided to keep the card simple and only used a spotty paper from a paper pack I got from En liten Butik. (Pop over there to find out more.) I also used white and black cardstock and used a die to cut out the word.

Hope you like him!

Tips: Simon Says Challenge has an AG!

These cards are made by my dd today,
using a Kenny K image.

Please come back tomorrow. I got both a fox and something with curves for Scribbles and Kenny K.

With us this week is a wonderful sponsor

Digi Stamps 4 Joy

I have used one of sentiment images that they so kindly provided us with.

The theme is:

Use Your Dies/Punches

The girl is also a digi from Digistamps4Joy. I think they fitted so well together. I have used a lot of different dies to make this card, but also a couple of punches.

Corner dies are from Cheery Lynn
Circle flower dies are from Memory Box
Both small and big butterflies are Martha Stewart punches.
Also added some pearls and pink flowers.

The image is coloured with ProMarkers. I have also used some enamel embossing powder. I used a moss green chalk to make the corner die cuts stand out a bit better against the background paper.

Also a little tip, check out Simon Says Challenge this week. The DT has made some awesome projects.
