New challenge at Ruby´s Rainbow!!!

I new challenge started yesterday at

 Make anything you like as we are a multi crafts challenge so long as you keep to the theme, that could be Cards, Scrapping, Tags, Fat pages, Atcs, Knitting etc.

I made this card for the challenge using a image from Sassy Studio I coloured with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils.

It´s a pretty simple card but I wanted the focus to be on the image. The cute bats are digital images from Scribbles Design. You can find them for free here!

Fright Night: Monster Movie Madness

Lisa has come up with a perfect challenge and this is what she says

Werewolves, Vampires and Ghouls, oh my!  Show us what kind of inspiration you can get from a monster movie.  Since Halloween is almost upon us, dust off those creepy or scary movies and create a project that depicts your interpretation of your favourite monster movie.  Now for those of you that are faint of heart, cute monster movies qualify too.  Just be sure to let us know which monster movie you used to help inspire you.

 I am not so keen on scary movies at all, I mostly sit hiding behind the pillow... 

I don´t think I have seen a scary movie in the last 15 years or so, but I remember that I saw one that had some sort of vampire in it, so this is what I made:

 I used papers from MME and did some white splashes with white chalk mist.

Well, hello friends! 

Great to see  you back here! I will share at least two post with you today. First up is this spotty and stripy one....

This is what I made:

All the material on this card (not stamp and the white flowers) comes from my local scrap shop called Scrapbutiken. They just got their web shop running. If you want any of these papers, lace or fabulous flowers - pop over here!

The stamp is from Nutcrafters. It´s cute isn´t it? I have added the balloon to make it fit the Birthday theme better. As usual have I coloured with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils.

 These black flowers from Prima is super cool! You can draw on them and make your own patterns, like a chalk board....

A few layers, with patterned paper, lace, cut out frame, flowers, mesh ribbon and stamp.

I used a lot of stickles on this card, both on the balloon and all the dots are also stickles.

Anniversary abound

 This weeks theme is set by my lovely and talented team mate Lisa. She and her husband is celebrating that they have been a couple for 26 years and she also celebrate a year in blogland this week so the theme is

ANNIVERSARY

So this week we want to see your projects that celebrate any type of anniversary.  It could be for a wedding, celebrating how long a couple has been together in general, an employment related anniversary, or to celebrate the number of years someone has quit smoking or been sober.  It could even be a project celebrating a blogiversary.  It is up to you as long as your creation reflects the celebration of an event marked by the passage of time. 

This is what I made

I used this wonderful cake, it´s called Make a wish cake  I used some metallic folie to make the string shine.... You´ll see it better if you click on the picture.

Also used a lot of different things here, rhinestones, stickers, embossed the black lace and some washi tape.

This is what I made....

I made this Halloween card and tried to use all three colours but I also added some turquoise.
Some washi tape up in the corner to make the banners and some orange buttons wit black string.

The cute witch is from a Swedish designer called Skogstokig Rubberstamps. And the image comes in two parts so that the pumpkin looks like it sticks out, me like! I have coloured her with my ProMarkers and some Faber Castell pencils.

I used a die from Cherry Lynn to make the big spider. Isn´t it cute? Not too spooky, right? I also added some googly eyes to make it more fun.

Think Pink

These days it is getting harder and harder to find someone who hasn't been touched by cancer.  It is breast cancer awareness month and it is the perfect opportunity to create a card letting someone know we are thinking about them.  The card doesn't specifically have to be for someone dealing with cancer, it could just be for someone that is dealing with some sort of difficulty, or a project that lets someone you care about, know that you are thinking of them.  However, in honour of breast cancer awareness month, we do ask that you include lots of pink on your creation.
So this week we're looking for lots of pink on your creations ..

This is what I made:

I used my ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils to colour. I love this little spider, isn´t he cute? The Image is a SOG and spider web paper is from MME, think it´s perfect!

Used some black rhinestones and did some stitching so the spider would look like he is dangling from a thread.
