A pink Birthday Wish

Hi again,

One of my dd friends had her Birthday party today. 

I got a few (my hubby would say many) Birthday cards in my stash, but do you think I got one that I think is fitting when I need one?

No, but that´s ok

it means I need to make one, doesn´t it?

So this is what I came up with today. I used a super cute digital stamp called Kitten Flowerpot, isn´t it cuter than cut? You can find it at From The Heart Stamp.

From The Heart Stamps also got a monthly progressive challenge and a weekly challenge. I´m going to add this into the weekly sketch challenge. This weeks sketch look like this:

I have coloured with ProMarkers. I added both die cut clouds, punched butterflies and fussy cut bird. Made some stitches around the image with a black pen.

I am really happy with how this card turned out. I used a few bits of scrap paper I had in my stash. Washi tape, a few pearls and flowers. I coloured the super cute image with ProMarkers.

I had so much fun making this one. I sort of went crazy and used a lot of die cuts and also fussy cut some patterns from different papers.

We started a new challenge over at

SCRIBBLES DESIGN

a few days ago

I wasn´t ready with my DT project in time

Now it´s finished and i wanted to show you what I came up with.

But first a little bit about the new challenge...

This month´s theme is

SPRING HAS SPRUNG

Whether you go with a creation featuring botanical elements in full bloom, or simply want to focus on a particular event associated with this time of the year, it is up to you.  Just keep in mind that this month, we want to see a project that reflects the true nature of spring.

Here is my Spring card. I used one of Scribbles Designs new Mason Jars. They are simply wonderful. You can buy them empty or filled with wonderful things. I picked the one called Lady Bug Mason Jar, isn´t it cute?

I used different papers from EP 6x6 paper pack called Simple Life. Love it.

I coloured the image with my ProMarkers and then added a little stitched edge around the image. I wrote the sentiment by hand on the image.

This is my card to get your inspiration going.

I used a digital stamp from Wee Stamps. 

I simply love these ones. It´s so fun to colour them. 

I coloured with my ProMarkers.

 I used old papers from Jillibean Soup and Senice Route. 

I used two different ribbons. One with yellow butterflies and a brown with white dots. I added some pretty flowers from Wild Orchid and some pearls.

I used stickles on her wings and the small orange flowers. I used two dies as well. A scalloped circle and some ferns. Butterflies are punched with a Martha Stewart punch. I added some stitches with a black pen and two buttons on the top and bottom.

I decided to go for a black and white card this time.

I used three different papers that I got from my local scrap shop called En liten butik. The sentiment is a freebie from Create with TLC (Thanks Paulette).

I have coloured with ProMarkers.

I have distressed the edges so they would stick out against the black paper. I really like all the layers and how the swirl on the Prima paper went well with the image.

I like this image a lot and the sentiment set is simply fantastic, don´t you agree?

I have coloured with ProMarkers. I used three different pattern papers. But I am not sure of the brands since they been laying in my left over stash for more than 7 years...

I combined two of the sentiment digis, think it turned out well. Also used dies to get the heart shape and film strips. A few white candies and done!
