Storybook or Nursery Rhyme

is the new theme on our new challenge at Crafty Catz. The challenge starts today and is picked by me. It´s my first challenge so I hope you like it. We want you to get inspired by a storybook, a storybook character or a Nursery Rhyme and use that to make a card.

This is what I made:

I got inspired by the nursery rhyme Horsey, Horsey, don´t you stop - let your feet go clippety clop.

 Used some things that I thought fitted the cowboy image, like the thicker string, some stars, a gun charm. I used heps of chalk to make the papers look worn and old.

I wrote the nursery rhyme around the edge with a white gel pen. I have coloured with my ProMarkers and Faber castel pencils.

New challenge at Digi Darla

Finally I got some time over to update my blog. Life is so busy right know with a school play to organize, write about pupils before term ends, practice biking before my 100 km ride in two weeks, organize kids and things they need to daycare, cooking food.... yep the list goes on and on and on....


Anyway a....life´s good!

Today is the start of a new great challenge over at Digi Darlas. The theme this week is Father´s Day. We don´t celebrate Father´s Day until autumn here in Sweden but now I will be prepared in good time...

I have used the cutest image called Daddy´s Shoulders and you can find it here! Pretty sure this one is a good treasure.

I made this card:

Used my Promarkers as usually and a little bit of shading with my Faber Castell pencils.  I love this bright coloured paper with a lot of trees. Think it will fit Simon Says Stamp challenge this week too - it´s Into the wood...

I won 2 digis at Meljens Designs with my card to their Mom, Mommy & Mother Challenge  and 2 digis at Di Designs with my card to their Bling challenge. I love both designers stamps and got some that I been looking at for some while.... Now it´s the fun bit - to ink them up and get colouring!

Crafty Catz DT card - Fancy Folds

We want to see some Fancy Folds this week over at Crafty Catz. I´m looking forward to see what you all come up with. I would love to learn some new folds....
But before I´ll show you what I made. I would like to announce that we have two "new" girls joining our Crafty Catz team. I like to say a warm welcome to the super talented Anna and Tilly Totter. Please pop over to their blogs and give them some looooove.

 So what did I make? Well I had a go at my first "swing card" you can find a tutorial here. It was a little bit difficult. Not to happy with my cuts. But I guess it will become easier when you made it a couple of times.

 I used heaps of stickles on my image to make him look more jolly.... also covered the banner die cut and the corner die cut.

 When you pull out the card the middle bit with the image turns and you´ll see the backside of it. I think I will put a sentiment or a greeting there.

This is what I made. I used this super cool stamp and thought it fits perfect. This is what you want to do on Father´s Day - kick up your feet and relax!

The sentiment says: You are without doubt the best Dad in the whole wide world. I used my ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils.

Show the bling

Made a card to Di´s challenge - show us your bling. I used one of her sweet images and some new papers from EP.

 Some bling around the image and also a bit of glitter on the flowers.

 Made a bow out of some thine ribbon and put that on top of a thicker white lace. I used my ProMarkers pens and Faber Castell Pencils.

Well, Pollycraft is back....

isn´t that just fantastic news! I love these super cute images and I have got my hands on a new one. It´s called Monsters Hugs and it´s the cutest ever, perfect for Father´s Day.

I made this little card for next Fathers´s Day, it´s not until October/November here in Sweden. But it feels good to be ready in time, for once, LOL!

 I have used some papers from EP and white and orange cardstock. Some black chalk on the edges. I have also hand stitched around the heart..

So, what do you think? Don´t you feel like a hug? Anyway, at Tales from Pollycraft you can read more about these cuties and also they got a DT-call. Thought I would try my luck... Looked throught the other entries and I would not like to be in Paula´s shoes. So many talented ladies!

It´s Digi Darla Day....

I have used DD Snowman with tree and you can find this cutie here.

 I used Glitter snow to make the tree 3-d. It looks pretty nice, don´t you think?

 Used a lot of 3-d dots to pop up the image and some small alphabet pearls to write Merry Christmas.

 Some pearls around the image and snowflakes made of cardboard also add up the 3-d source.  Used  ribbon that I put through some eyelets and I also added some pearls at the end of the ribbon.

Hope you all are having a great Friday. I have had a wonderful day, sunshine, completed a 42 km bike ride, enjoyed a good curry and a glas of wine and now I will watch a film and do some colouring. Could it be better?

I used one of my new stamps from The Paper Shelter and made this pirat Birthday card. Think it will fit a kid, don´t you?  I have used 3 different papers, 2 embellishments (flowers and ribbon) and 1 digi.

As usual I coloured in with my ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. The big skull is cut out from the skull paper. It has the same pattern on the back but bigger, very handy...

Well I am so excited! I have been picked as a new member at the Scribbles Design Team.

I have used two digis from Scribbles to this challenges. First is the very cute Nimble  Puss. I have coloured her with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. Then I added three flowers that I coloured with my ProMarkers too. The digi is called Flower 5 and I can promise you that it will show up on more cards soon. Think it looks fantastic both small like this and bigger.

 This card will fit my Mum Purr-fect since she is a mad cat collector. She got over 5500 different cats in her bookshelves at home.

Yes it´s time for a new challenge over at Digi Darla. I am absolutely in love with Digi Darla´s wonderful images! I can´t get enough of them, lol.

I used some paper from a Swedish manufacture called Reprint. Some small alpha stickers from Kaiser Kraft. I think an old bit of string at the top made it look neat. Used a lot of chalk around the edges as well. As normal I coloured with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils.

I wish all Mothers out there a good day. In Sweden where I live is Mother´s Day a bit later but I have enjoyed my day anyway... lol.

This image from Meljens is so cute and fits perfect on a Mother´s Day card, don´t you think? I kept it simple and only added the frame, some glitter and the text.
