I love to read...

I´m in a book club with some of my best girl friends and we always has such a great time when we meet up. This weeks challenge over at Crafty Catz got me thinking of my friends... The theme set by our  lovely Jac is BOOKMARKS.

We are lucky to be sponsored  by

ALOTA STAMPS

Search our web site for cute and whimsical rubber stamps. We also feature background scenes in full size and miniature and we have a large selection of tea bag folding stamps. For great inspiration be sure to visit our card gallery

I used one of the stamps we got sponsored with and made this bookmark.

I used a lot of material from my local scrap shop called Scrapbutiken, like the pattern paper, cardstock, pearls, pearls on a thread,  punch, ribbon and the wooden bird.

I used my ProMarkers to colour this cute lady and also shaded with some Faber Castell pencils. The little alpha stickers says Start to read here! in Swedish

I really like my new Martha Stewart punch which makes all the small flowers and leaves! Isn´t it cute?

A bit late....

I hope that you have already visit Digi Darla this week and checked out their new challenge!!!

This months challenges have been assigned to Emily and she has come up with some amazing and fun ideas for you! Every challenge this month is ATG (Anything Goes) but with an optional twist! You'll have to be sure to check in each Monday to see what that twist is! This weeks challenge is
ATG with Optional Twist:
Flags--add a flag, banner or pennant to your card

The twist is optional, but of course, we would love to see what you can do with it!

I used Digi Darlas Tea Cup Chick 1 and you can find it here!

I must admit that my card went a bit CRAZY but I think it´s a bit fun in the same way. I mixed colours, patterns and decos. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils.

So what do you think. Is this a keep or in the bin?

Now if you haven´t visit Digi Darlas Challenge blog yet, please do so! Also give some extra love to Vicky. It´s her last card this week since she decided to  move on to some new adventures!

Spots and Stripes

Yes that´s the challenge theme over at Nutcrafters Challenge blog. I haven´t had time to play along for such a long time. But I finally found some extra time and made this card to their challenge

I made the card pretty simple since I wanted to give this adorable image the main focus on the card. I coloured her with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. I used some chipboard decos (flower and ladybirds). Some stickles on the butterflies and a few red pearls and I felt done!

You still got time....

If you want to play along with us at Scribbles Design this month.
Our theme this time is CAS, Clean And Simple!
I have had so much fun making this card for a cool dude....

I used some different washi tapes and stack them to a piece of cardstock. I cut out a big star from the white cardstock too and then used a stapler to attach it to the card. A few faux stitches around the edge and then some black letters.

If you would like to purchase a Scribbles Designs image click here.
Sandy is happy to provide you with a freebie for participating... You´ll find it at Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog
Please be respectful of her and use this image to play along.

I used another Carl called Carl Shredding
I coloured him with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils.
