Birthday card

 Hi

Hope you are doing well and enjoying the weekend.

I have done a little bit of crafting and created two cards after the sketch over at Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog.

It looks like this:

This is my first card. I thought it would fit a basketball player.

I used the sketch but switch the diagonal line. I used critters from the Really High Five set and the sport items come from All Star.

I used two stencils to make the background.

I would like to enter this card into following challenges:

Good Luck - Going to school

 Happy Friday!

I have enjoyed my last day of summer holiday even though the weather is grey and rainy. Started of with a shorter run in the morning. Then a long and lazy breakfast outside on the veranda (reading the morning newspaper). I then craft for a little while, had lunch and went to town and did a bit of shopping (found 2 tops on sale!)

Soon going to cook dinner and watch a movie. But before I do so I thought I share my latest Lawn Fawn card. I used the sketch (current challenge) and made a Good Luck card for a young boy starting school in a couple of weeks.

I usually find the sketch challenges very difficult to do when I use my Lawn Fawn since I like to build scenes when I create. But this time I got an idea as soon as I saw the sketch and I think it turned out rather well, what do you think?

I have used distress inks and gold acrylic paint to make my background.

I finally got to use a lot of my owls that I had not use before. I looked in my stash and found a few different ones. I actually found 2 more sets but the design was a bit different so I decided not to use them this time. I also looked around to find as many different books as I could as well.

Stamp sets I used:
So Owlsome (little owls, apple, glasses)
Special Delivery (big owl)
A Bug Deal (twigs)
Just Add Glitter (pencil, scissors, rulers)
Den Sweet Den (books)
Virtual Friends add-on (mug with pencils)
You Goat This (bow)
Purrfectly Wicked (big book)
Let´s Play (swing)
Bicycle Build for You (hat)
All-Star (sentiment)

I have coloured with ProMarkers.
I added glossy accent to glasses and rulers.

Have a Happy Day - with Lawn Fawn

 Happy Tuesday

I´m trying to craft as much as I can before I have to go back to work next week. Here is a card I made using the wonderful Tree House die from Lawn Fawn.

I matched it with a few different stamp sets too:

Scootin' By (rabbit)

Garden Before 'n Afters (flower pots, flower bed, seeds, watering can)

Beary Rainy Day (frog, sentiment)

A Bug Deal (bugs)

Berry Special (sign)

I used a stencil and some distress inks for the background. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.

Let´s BBQ - Happy Birthday

I have had so much fun creating cards lately, this is one of my newest Birthday cards. I wanted to create a bit of a more masculine card so I decided to make a night sky and a bbq party. I heat embossed the star signs from Upon a Star with white embossing powder.

Couldn´t decide if the bear and dear needed birthday hats or not. What do you think? Should I add hats?

I have coloured with ProMarkers and then fussy cut the images since I didn´t have all of the coordinating dies.

I also used the tent die from Build a campsite.

Stamps I have used:
Upon a Star
Party Animal
Mom + Me
Crazy Antics
Oh Gnome
Let´s BBQ

Dies I have used:
Build a Campsite
Stitched Hillside Borders
Grassy Hillside Borders
Simple Stitched Hillside Borders
Mushroom Border

I would like to enter this card into following challenges:

Crafty Friends #157 - embossing (28/7)

Happy Father´s Day

 Happy Sunday Everyone!

Today I have played with Let´s BBQ from Lawn Fawn. I also used a few different mice from some other stamp sets from Lawn Fawn. My Father likes to cook on the bbq so I thought this stamp set would fit to make a Father´s Day card for him.

I wanted the card to be a bit more masculine then the normal LF cards I make, so I decided to stamp straight to craft cardstock and then colour with some Faber Castell pencils. It was fun to use another colouring medium than normal, but also a bit difficult since I´m not so used to these. What do you think? Do you like it or not?

Since I stamped straight on to the craft cardstock I needed to mask my stamps to give the card a perspective and not to look to flat.

I also made the gingham patter by hand using a promarker pen. Think it turned out really cool! I then heat embossed the sentiment and the 2 hearts with white embossing powder on some black paper.

Stamps I used:

Let´s BBQ (bbq ,food items)

A Creature was Stirring (mice bottom)

Really Hight Five (mouse top)

S'more the Merrier (steam)

You Goat This (sentiment + heart)

Dies I used:

Outside in stitched rectangle stackables

Everyday Sentiments Banners

Hope your Christmas is Dino-mite!

Had so much fun lately, creating Christmas cards in July...

Today I want to share my latest creation and this Christmas wish take us back all the way to Jurassic time....lol

I have coloured my images with ProMarkers.

I used distress inks to create my background.

I have used stamps from a few different Lawn Fawn sets:

Rawrsome (dinosaurs)

Critters from the past (dinosaur, tree and leaf)

You are sublime (seaweed made into cactus)

Mermaid for you (rock)

Home for the holidays (presents)

Merry Mice (little present)

Christmas dreams (presents)

Penguin Party (lights curved)

Furry and Bright (lights and reindeer hat)

Toboggan Together (santa hat long)

Ho-Ho-Holidays (santa hat)

Out of this world (Rudolf nose)

Simply Celebrate Summer (green plant)

Yeti or not (scarf)

I used glossy accent on the red nose and all the lights.

I fussy cut all the images except the lights. I also used some slimline dies from lawn fawn for the shape of the card and the hillside border and grassy hillside border for the background.

I love how this card turned out, especially the Rudolf-dino. Hope you do too!
