DT card for Crafty Catz

It´s Friday - do the wave!!!

I am so happy it´s finally Friday and especially because I now have a full week of since the schools have Sport Holiday week 8!!! That is truly something to celebrate....

Here we go

This weeks new challenge at CRAFTY CATZ  has just started and it´s our wonderful Carol who has picked the theme.

The theme this week is

LADY IN RED

that means we want to see Ladies wearing red...

I used one of the images we got sponsored with and made this Birthday Card

I think she looks fab in that red sparkly dress!

I have coloured with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. 

Some buttons, black spotty ribbon, red rhinestones and some stickles and metallic folie on her dress.

I have cut out the lady and then put her on top of the same image to get a 3D effect.

This is what I made

A Valentine CAS card. I thought this stamp is so pretty by it self that I didn´t want anything else that take away the focus from the image...

I coloured with ProMarkers and also added some pink stickles to give the heart some sparkle...

I have coloured with my ProMarkers and used two different patterned papers. A thick white lace. Two different flowers, some pastilles, black alpha stickers and last a few white candy. Most of this material comes from my local scrap shop - Scrapbutiken!

I used DD Nice To Meet Ya, isn´t she adorable?

I coloured with ProMarkers and Faber Castel pencils. I have distressed my edges using chestnut chalk and also an edge scraper. Pappers are Bella BLVD and EP. I used lace from Marianne Design. Love this thick rustic lace!

Think this Valentine Card turned out pretty fun, perfect for someone who loves country and wester, right?
