A Birthday Card

Here is a new Birthday Card I made. This image is so cute and a perfect fit for those dinosaur loving boys, right? Image is from Meljen´s Design and it´s called Nerd o Saurus. How cute isn´t that?

Again I used some more papers from my scrap stash. I am so happy with myself that I actually do!

I used a sketch from Tuseday Morning Sketches and it look like this:

I have used ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils to colour the image. A journaling sticker from JilleBean and the number 5. Some little green stars and a few yellow rhinestones. I also used a bit of yellow stickles. The star pattern ribbon is one of my favs.

Think it would fit my little son perfect!

I kept this card very simple and clean and think it turned out great. I used a little bit of blue stickles on the fins. I have coloured with my ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. Added some stitches around the edge of the image. A  few white brads and done!

Get Well

I love this little cute image from Meljen´s Design. It´s called Sick little bear. I have coloured it with my ProMarkers and Faber Castel pencils. I love turquoise but I think I should have used another colour for the cooling bag on his head, don´t you think?

I am really happy with the frame I made. I used two layers of with cardstock and doodle the black and white pattern, then added some stitching and did the sentiment with my own handwriting.  The paper is from EP. I am trying to use up as much of my scrap stash as I can this year.

I think brown and turquoise work so well together, don´t you think? It´s one of my favourite colour combos at the moment.

Don´t sweat it...

I got a little bit of craft time today!!!!

I had this image already coloured with ProMarkers and Faber Castel pencils so I decided to play along with I(heart) card sketches w/ a tWIst #64

This is the inside. Think this sentiment is so funny. Both sentiment and the cute bird is from From The Heart Digitals. I love these images.... Used some glitter blue and red on the candle. Some buttons and thats it!

You are so cute...

Meljens Design has a freebie each Friday!!! And to make it even more fun Melissa has decided to have a little extra challenge on Meljen´s Facebook page each weekend! I love this it get my mojo going....

This week we got a sweet little cupcake image. I decided to make something that I normally don´t. I made a shaped card. So I found a template for a cupcake and cut it out from a light yellow coloured cardstock. I then used stripy paper from Reprint bought at my local scrap shop - Scrapbutiken. 

I had so much fun with these dew drops. Have a lot of them but I don´t use them so often. With this cupcake I think they look fantastic! The sentiment is from Whimsy Doodle. I couloured the image with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. I added some white dots on the heart with a white gel pen.

I used a yellow ribbon from Scrapbutiken. I love how it´s sort of translucent.

On your special day

I made this card as a DT card for my local scrap shop called Scrapbutiken. This stamp from Bildmålarna is a bit older but I love her! Think Bildmålarna make the cutest stamps ever!

I have coloured her with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. I love this big flower and lace that I got at Scrapbutiken. The patterned paper I used is also from the shop. It´s a Swedish brand called Reprint.

I added some punched out leaves and a die cut doil . I love buttons so added some of those too. Did some stitching around the edges and also distressed the edges with an edge scraper. Doodle a frame around the image. Added some pearls and volá!

Doodle away....

This is my DT card for the mid-way reminder for Scribbles Design Challenge´s Doodle Time.

Last time I´ve used one of the Sandy´s fantastic Doodle images over at Scribble Design.

This time I´ve used Nimble Puss for my card. I do love this cat and he is so much fun to colour!!! And instead I doodle my own background. 

I used a white gel pen on a black cardstock. I found some inspiration at the internet. Need some more practice but it was lots of fun!
