Here is a little information about Craftybren

Hi my name is Bren, I have been crafting since a very early age, and enjoy many forms of it,  knitting, sewing, papercrafts and gardening. Housework takes a backseat. Craftybren's  was born because a friend saw my embroidery on a card and asked if I made my embroidery to order, as she would like to incorporate onto her sewing. Although Craftybren's is mainly Embroidered Embellishments I have added to my range, as customers have  asked if I do certain things.

I have used a digi image from Rick St Denise called Morning Goodness Carla.

Used a sentiment from Create with TLC. Thanks Paulette!

I have used ProMarkers to colour the image. I used a lot of left over paper scraps. Chalked all the edges. 

Used some glossy accent on the brown die cut hearts. Also added some sequins and stuck them down with white brads.

I made a little tag. Not sure how I´ll use it yet, but are thinking about adding it to a scrapbook page later... (I´ll let you know)

I used some dotty paper and used a dies to make the big unbrella. Both umbrellas are a new die I just got. This is the first time I use it. Think I get a lot of use of this one... To make the smaller one I first added some spotty washi tape to white cardstock and then cut it out with a dies. I also added some dots using a black ribbon with white dots, made small dots around the edge of the sentiment. I also thought there was kind of dots on the film stripe die cut.

I want to share a little card I made using this weekens freebie from Meljen´s Design. I love her little cute images and this party cat is so jolly, don´t you think?

I also used a sentiment freebie from Create with TLC. I love her fun sentiments and this one fitted purr-fect! I coloured the image with my ProMarkers. Like how the ballons nearly look see-through. 

I kept the card very simple. Added pattern paper under the image. A ribbon to hide the edges, a felt flower and some little sparkle in form of rhinestones...

I think sometimes less is more....

A late post for Crafty Catz first challenge 2015

As you know Crafty Catz started up their challenges again on the 2nd of January. I totally missed this even though I had my card ready and set for a while. I´m so sorry ladies... well here we go...

I have used a new digistamp to me, one of the stamps so kindly given us by Fitztown Store (thank you) and made this girly card. I left the sentiment to later so I can make it fit the person who will receive it.

I used ProMarkers to colour in and added some pearls to the flowers. I used paper from my stash ( I have no idea how old it is but I think I had it since the start of my scrapping days.

A lot of flowers, butterflies and swirls to make it girly. And a lot of stickles on the flowers to make them sparkle.

Last post for 2014

Well good friends,

I have had a fantastic scrap year, how about you?

I´ll try to pick my top 10 creations tomorrow, always great to go back and see what you made during a year. I love some of my projects but I also have those that didn´t turn out like I wanted them too. Do you know the feeling? I am so pleased that my colouring improved, I also love that I met so many nice people through my blog and through the design teams I´m on.

I feel very excited about 2015, what´s going to happen, what will be the next new trend? what new things will I learn?

My last project for this year is a card made after a sketch at I heart Sketches with a tWiSt #91 - use stitching

I do love these sketches and fun twists... I hope that I will have more time to enter these during 2015. 

I have used this fun birdbrain image called Christmas Spirit Birdbrain.  If you click on the link it will take you to From the Heart Stamps Shop and you could get him too. This is what I made:

I used papers from Kaiser Krafts 6"x6" paper pack. Really love these patterns and colours.

I have coloured with my ProMarkers and added a bit of red stickles on his nose. Think it turned out super cute! I used some die cuts and added a few white candies.
