Hi there...
I´m back to work, don´t know how that could be possible? I just started my summer vacation? Well I guess it will be X-mas before we know it...
Today I would like to share a card I made for our new challenge over at
Our new theme is
YEAR OF THE DOG
According to the Chinese Astrological Calendar, 2018 happens to be the Year of the Dog. Individuals born during the Year of the Dog (1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018) just happen to share the same characteristics as their canine counterparts with honesty and loyalty being top traits. They also happen to be the truest of friends and are very reliable as a partner. It is because of these characteristics that dogs are considered by many to be 'man's best friend'. The statistics support this idea with approximately 35% of Canadian households having a dog (Ipsos Reid, 2011), roughly 39% of American households having one (Psychology Today) and approximately 25% of UK households having one as well (Pet Food Manufacturers Association, 2013). With so many dog lovers out there AND with it happening to be the Year of the Dog, it is time to honour all the canine companions in our midst. That is why for this challenge, we are looking for dogs to take centre stage in your creation. Make sure that you have at least one dog as the primary focus of your creation. If you want to add a whole kennel of them, that is up to you but you just need to ensure there is at least one puppy or full grown dog on your project to be eligible to receive the prize. Hot diggety dog! We look forward to seeing who will be best in show.
I have used two images to make this card:
I have coloured with ProMarkers. I used a white enamel embossing powder to make the falling snow.
I die cut the sentiment (Merry Christmas) and the 3 tiny snowflakes.
I would like to enter this into following challenges:
