Do the wave - it´s Monday!

I loooove Mondays because it means it´s time for a new challenge at Digi Darla. It´s me who picked the theme this week and I hope you´ll like it. It´s actually my Mum´s Birthday today so the theme pick was easy, it had to be Birthday Celebration.

My Mum is a mad cat collector and loves red so with this in mind I sat of to make her a Birthday card. I used a super sweet digi called Cat In Pajamas and you can find it here!

I like this black velvet frame and flowers from my local scrap shop called Scrapbutiken. Also ribon, pearls and the grey paper come from the same shop. I have coloured this sweet image with my ProMarkers and some Faber Castell pencils. Made the pants stripy using a white gel pen. I put a banner at the top to make it feel a bit more like a birthday card and also used a bit of cheese cloth. The sentiment GRATTIS means Congratulations and we use that in Swedish on our Birthdays.

Brand new challenge at Brown Sugar

Brown Sugar Challenge blog has started a new challenge today. The theme is blue, green and white. This colour combo is great, don´t you think?

The dt team got a wonderful image to play with too. I made a card but think I will add the name of the person I will give it to later. Thought it looked pretty cool.... Pop over to Brown Sugar and check out my team mates creations!

I used my ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils to colour in. Paper with stars is from my local scrap shop. I scraped the edges a bit. Used a stapler and a horse shoe dies.

New Challenge at Scribbles Design...

It´s finally time to start a new challenge over at Scribbles Design.

Always a great challenge to keep a card or project Clean and Simple (CAS)... sometimes not putting that last little bit of bling is so hard!

I made this card using

I used some mist and made some splash pattern and then I added 3 buttons and 3 stars. I doodle a frame around the image and used some alpha stickers to write Happy Birthday.

Have used ProMarkers and my Faber Castell pencils to colour Carl.

A card to a sweet sweet girl....

on her Christening Day. I have used this sweet stamp from Di´s Digis Design. Some Maja Design papers, made an envelope and put a little letter from me to the girl in it, some flowers, pearls, and a few stitches....

Give me more summer...

please, please let the summer stay for a bit longer. It was cold this morning when I went to work and the grass was wet.... it felt like autumn! I love autumn with the beautiful colours but I still want some more sun and hot days....

I made this card to try to help myself to stay in summer mood...

I used papers from Bildmålarna and Maja Design, two Swedish manufactures. I love these papers they make me remember summer days down the sea. I just found a new challenge blog called Parade Your Craft. Their theme this week is Down by the sea, perfect right? The stamp is from Pollycrafts latest Lil Dumplings and she is called Shelby. Gorgeous, don´t you think?

I coloured with ProMarkers and my Faber Castel pencils. The twig, button, pearls and ribbon comes from my local scrap shop - Scrapbutiken! They are soon starting up their web shop!!!!
