Happy Friday to you all!
I´m having a week of work (we call it sports Holiday) and it´s going to be so nice to have some resting time. I also hope it means that the hole family with feel a bit better. I was ill a week ago but feeling better. This week my son been home from school with an awful cough and sore throat. They had 18 kids out of his class on Wednesday so it makes you wonder if it´s maybe more then a cold...
I guess we just have to wait and see if the rest of us get it. Good that we can stay home and rest at least.
Now over to something more fun!!!
CRAFTY CATZ
new challenge is going live today
it´s easy to play along with our
ANYTHING GOES theme
and if you want a bit of a challenge you can use the twist - in the garden
We are sponsored by the wonderful
and I have used an image so kindly given to me to create with
it´s from a set called
I have coloured with ProMarkers.
(I am a little disappointed over my choice of green for the flowers, it doesn´t match the green paper I picked out very well. I have to give it a go and see if I can do anything about it. Have you got any great tips?)
I doodle some faux stitches, stamped some bumble bees with a black ink and draw some white highlights on them. I also added some green rhinestones and some stickles to the flowers to make them look a bit magical.
Please visit Beccy´s Blog.
She has so much inspiration on there it´s crazy!
I love to pop over and I always find something I want to try.
I would like to enter this card into following challenges:
Alphabet Challenge #W - is for Woodland Flora or Fauna (25/2)
I don´t know if it fits the theme since it says woodland flora but I think there will be flowers and bees too even if they also can be in a garden? Please delete my card if it doesn´t qualify.
Creative Fingers #202 - AG (7/3)
Aud Sentiments #268 - AG (23/2)

So pretty Nick. I like the image and colors. So glad you shared over at Aud Sentiments, Alphabet challenge,
SvaraRaderaYour card is beautiful Nick, I love the double mats and the faux stitching you added for your border. The rhinestones are a nice touch too. I actually like the green you used for the leaves, I think it gives a nice contrast to the background, but if you're really unhappy with it you could try adding a layer of yellow marker over the top... just don't overwork it too much.
SvaraRaderaSorry to hear your son is sick, I hope it's nothing more than just a cold and he's back on his feet again soon.
Cheers,
Beccy
I know what you mean by the green colors. But it does not disturb.
SvaraRaderaGreat card and thank you for playing along at The Unicorn Challenge. Good luck with your entry.
Greetings Marga dt
Very pretty card!!!
SvaraRaderaPretty card. Thanks for joining us at The Unicorn Challenge Blog for our "Flowers" challenge.
SvaraRaderaYour card is beautiful and I can't find anything that would need a change. I like the two different shades of green, I think it makes the flower stand out nicely. The sentiment is very wise, and in combination with all the details you added creates a beautiful garden scene. Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenge.
