New challenge at Ruby´s Rainbow

We had some wonderful spotty and stripy creations last fortnight!

I loved all of them.

Now, we have a brand new challenge for you

the theme this fortnight

is picked by Debbie

and she picked

TEXTURE

For this challenge we want to see all different items on your creations this could be feathers, buttons, embossing, corrugated card, anything you like to give your creation texture.

Don't forget you can make anything you like as we are a multi crafts challenge so long as you keep to the theme, that could be Cards, Scrapping, Tags, Fat pages, Atcs, Knitting etc.

All material except the white flower comes from my local scrap shop called Scrapbutiken.

And for textures I used:

embossing folder to make spots on the die cut corners.

Midway post for Path of Positivity....

We are half way through challenge #11

over at

Path of Positivity

which has the theme

LOVE

I have made another card were I thought especially about the love for a new born child. Every new little person is a miracle and should be cherished and loved.... so here we go

The image are kindly provided by Ike's World

I have coloured it in with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. I used papers from a paper pack called Wintergarden and are made by Tilde/Panduro. I also die cut a brown heart, used some brown brads and some punched leaves. A big thick white ribbon with spots runs through the middle.

The challenge run until March 2nd.

I made this card

I used the colours, flowers and the square pattern on the table as my inspiration.

This wonderful image is called Digi Darla Daisy!

I have coloured it with my ProMarkers and Faber Castel pencils. I used some more paper from my stash ( so proud, lol). Flowers from Wild Orchids, a Martha Stewart punched butterfly and a circle scalloped dies. The sentiment is from Scribbles Design.

DT project for Scribbles Design

It´s now Scribbles Design turn to get your inspiration flowing...

We start up a new challenge today over at Scribbles Design

This months theme is

FRAME IT

Frames are a great way to draw attention to an item on your page helping to create a focal point. They are also very versatile and can create quite an impact on your project. So, this month we want you to use a frame somewhere on your creation. We can't wait to see what you come up with.

I used Frame 7 and this is what it look like

I thought it would fit perfect on a layout about my daughters first day at school. Don´t you think so too?

I also think it would look fantastic on a card made to a teacher...

This is what my layout look like

I printed the frame in two different sizes and then coloured them with warm grey (ProMarker) and cut them out. I also used these crayons and coloured them and cut them out

Papers, brads and the little tag comes from my local scrap shop - Scrapbutiken.

I bought the little hearts in a flower shop in my town.

I got to play with Sassy Sadie and I must say I love her!

She looks like she´s having a blast, doesn´t she?

I have distressed my edges with an edge scraper. I have also teared off a piece of paper. To distress the edges a bit more I used chalk on them.

I have coloured with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils.

This is what I made

The image is from NutCrafter, isn´t is adorable? I love it! I coloured it with my ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. I used a black pen to make the pattern on the boys sweater. Think it turned out pretty well!

I used heps of stickles on the heart that I die cut. Some buttons, angel wings, pearls, a journal card, wooden pearls, rhinestones, lace and ribbon. I also distressed the edges of the wonderful papers from Kaiser Kraft by using an edge scraper and some walnut chalk.
