Exciting Kenny K News....

I am so excited today we both have a new challenge

We got a new challenge for you over at

this month we want you to make a project with

a sentiment as the focal point

instead of an image

I have used two different digital images and

combined them into this focal point

I used Words 2 and they look like this

I kept the card very simple to make the sentiment the focal point. Only used pattern paper. Did some stitching around the edges and then 4 pink brads.

At the beach / Summer Fun with Sparkles Monthly Challenges

we had some warm days here in Sweden

and I have two more days to work before

I go on Summer Holiday!!!!

I made a layout about one and only time I went swimming last year...

I think this paper is one of my favorite designs. It´s from Fancy Pants. Love the warm yellow and orange colours. I ripped the paper in two spots and added some green fun papers that made me think about bubbles. The green paper is from my scrap stash. Also added some fun stickers like the tab, circles and photo corners.

I don´t usually cut in my photos but I thought this circle shaped photo fitted the rest of the design so well. Also I think it make you have a second look.

This is what I made:

I used a few different pattern papers and I love how it turned out! Used a mint green paper with music notes (MME), the spotty orange paper is EP and the green is an old OA paper. I used black cardstock to make the papers pop out.

I used white brads, rub-ons (arrows and mint green stars on top of the candy), white candy and black washi tape to decorate. Used a photo corner dies too.

I used the super cool Techno Guy from Kenny K. I have coloured him with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. Also used a sentiment from Birdie Brown, I thought worked really well with the Techno Guy.

DT card for Crafty Catz...

I have picked the theme this week over at Crafty Catz Challenge Blog.

This is what I made:

I used one of the images that Crafty Sentiment sponsored us with. She is called Kaye (spring Time).

I have coloured with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. I made the pattern on her hairband with a white gel pen. I also moved the flower and put it in her hair.

This card took it´s own way. Will add some sort of sentiment later. Think the colours work well together. Make it feel like summer. I used two different dies, hearts and the white flowers steams. I also used a lot of punches, butterflies and the twigs.
