Back to school

Hello sweeties....

I am a little bit ashamed today. I have picked the new theme at

Ruby´s Rainbow

and I forgot to post my own card.... great! But please have a look at all the wonderful projects made by my team mates. They are true inspiration!

So the new theme for this fortnight is

BACK TO SCHOOL

I have used an odd girl digital stamp this time to make this card

I have used only one paper for this card. A paper from another favorite manufacturer, no less then October Afternoon. Think it´s a perfect match.

Also used a digital sentiment from Digital Delight called

School Sentiment set and look like this

I used ProMarkers and Faber Castel pencils to colour. I then added a few pearls at the top and bottom of the card and made some stitches with a black pen.

Bright Birthday Card

I had great fun playing along with last weekends freebie at Meljen´s Design. Isn´t this little kite adorable?

Have coloured with my ProMarkers and then picked a lot of different pattern papers with colours I love!!! Pink, turquoise and orange make me so happy!

Grattis means Happy Birthday in Swedish.

I have altered my work calender

and this is how it turned out

I used three different stamps, the mug is from Meljen´s, the girl is from Tickled Pink and the sentiment on the mug is from Digital Delights.

I coloured with ProMarkers and the paper and stickers are Simple Stories. Also used a little bit of black washi tape.

Thank you everyone who played along with our Lazy Summer theme last week at Crafty Catz. I had a great time visiting you and I can tell you that there was a lot of things that I like to do during summer.

I have used some old stamps like these

I then used them to make a background. I first used Mod Podge to glue some old book pages to my cardstock. I then coloured my piece with distress stains - vintage photo and peeled paint.

When it dried I glued the stamps on top of it. I then put more stain and gesso on top of it to make it blend. I used embossing enamel powder to make it bling and add texture.

I embossed a sentiment from AC and two snails from Magnolia with black powder.

I used a black frame from my local shop and then added a stamp from ADFD that I coloured with ProMarkers and Faber Castel pencils. I also added a lot of pretty flowers.

This is what it looked like when finished
