Catch the Bug´s Annual Christmas event - day 3

Hi there,

I have tried a new thing for today´s challenge over at CATCH THE BUG´s challenge blog. As you know it´s that time of year... and they want to see all those wonderful Christmasy things...

Today´s challenge is to create something else than a card. So I decided to make a lollipop to decorate a Christmas present with. I haven´t made these ones before, but they are so fun and easy to make. If you search on Youtube you´ll find lots of great tutorial videos. 

I have used an image from Bugaboo Stamps called Christmas Cupcake - Candy Cane. I have coloured it with ProMarkers.

Catch the bug´s Annual Christmas event

Happy Sunday!

I´m back today with another Christmas card, which I made for Catch the Bug´s Annual Christmas event - Santas Work Shop. Today´s challenge was to use a sketch, that´s always fun to do. Here is the sketch:

I have used an image called Santa Clause. I have coloured with ProMarkers. I used 2 different pattern papers and then I tore a strip of black cardstock and used it between. I also used 2 red heart brads down the corner.

Catch the Bug´s Annual Christmas in July Event

Happy Saturday!

I think you know how much I love to make Christmas cards and today also happens to be the first day of Catch the Bug´s Annual Christmas in July Event. They are having one challenge each day for a whole week. It´s going to be so much fun to see if I can keep up and make a few cards.

Day 1 - Theme Challenge - Santa´s Work Shop

Here is the card I made:

I used a fun die from Lawn Fawn to make a central window card. These are so much fun to play with. I picked a paper to make it look like a wallpaper. I coloured some white paper with different browns to make it look like floor board.

I then printed 4 different images from Bugaboo stamps and coloured them with ProMarkers. I fussy cut them and added them to the scene. I think it looks cute with the santa waving through the door, the little elf carrying presents and the snowmen painting. I used these images:

I also die cut a tree and decorated it with stickles and red pearls. On the banner it says - Merry Christmas in Swedish.

I´m really happy with this card. Think it turned out so cute. But I´m thinking about adding another Christmas tree beside the little elf on the left side.What do you think?

I have used an image so kindly given to our DT to create with. 

It´s called Peony

I have coloured with ProMarkers.

I used this very sweet pattern paper from AC and some washi tape.

I also used a punch from Martha Stewart for the butterflies and a dies for the sentiment. I doodles some faux stitches around the edge of the image. I also added some sparkle to the wings on the butterflies but it is very difficult to see on the photo.

GDT card for KRAFTY CHICKS

Today I would like to share a card I made for a challenge blog called

KRAFTY CHICKS CHALLENGE

I´m so lucky to get invited by Lori to be there

This week´s theme is

CLEAN & SIMPLE

Use any stamp you have on your card/project 

and yes it can be a digi stamp.

This is a real challenge for me. I find it hard to make cards clean and simple. The card I made for last month´s Clean & Simple was not as CAS as I wanted it. So I tried to leave more white space on my card this time to make it more CAS.

I have used images from LAWN FAWN. 

They are from a set called Happy Trails. 

I have coloured with ProMarkers. 

I made a circle and stamped the road and trees to make my background. I also heat embossed the lines for the road. I then stamped and fussy cut the car and trailer and added them with some 3d distances. Also die cute some clouds, flowers and sun to complete the scene.

I have been out all day, visiting a large zoo here in Sweden.

Have not done much this summer (due to covid) so it was nice to do a little summer trip anyway. We had a great day, it was not to hot so lots of the animals were very active...

Here is my card. I have used one of the images so kindly given to our DT to create with by Star Jam Lines, it´s called Christmas Snowman.

I have used ProMarkers to colour this image.

I used a few different dies to create this wintery scene around the image. I also added the die cut mail box and the letter, thought it looked so cute.
