DT card for CRAFTY CATZ

Hello sweeties,

I have been away on a holiday to Australia for a few weeks.

I had a great time but it feels good to be back home too, especially to be able to colour and create again.

Today I would like to share a card I made for our new challenge over at

CRAFTY CATZ

As always we have a very easy theme to join...

but we also got a twist for those of you how want a little bit of a challenge or if you looking for some thing new to try or maybe just some new inspiration

I have used an image so kindly given to our DT to create with and made a 

birthday card. I coloured with ProMarkers.

I used a pattern paper from Lawn Fawn. I stamped the sentiment with a black ink and added some bigger pearl. I used an orange cardstock behind my pattern paper.

I have used an image from A Day For Daisies to make my Baby card.

I have coloured with ProMarkers.

I used a lot of different dies to make this card. I distressed the edges and also used enamel embossing powder, flowers and pearls to decorate it.

It´s called Bundle of fairy love

I have used papers from Maja Design and a ribbon from my stash.

I also used snoflake dies from Cheery Lynn Designs and a scallooped circle die.

The sentiment says - Welcome to this world in Swedish. I used white embossing powder to stamp it and emboss it. I used some pearls in the middle of the snowflakes and some enamel embossing powder .

A late DT project for Crafty Catz

I haven´t had time to post my card that I made for the new challenge over at

CRAFTY CATZ

I used an image so kindly given to me by

A day for daisies

I have coloured with ProMarkers. I added some glitter on her wings but it´s a bit hard to see. I also used some enamel embossing powder on the background to give it a bit more texture. 

I added flowers, butterflies (Martha Stewart punch), lace and pearls. I also distressed the edges to make the card look a bit more vintage and romantic.

Sentiment says Happy Summer in Swedish.

A card for a very special friend....

Hi there,

Today I will show you a card I made for a special friend.

I used a digital stamped designed by Lotta 

at Moa Pyssel. The sentiment says "loved" in Swedish. I entered her challenge and got this sentiment for free, but you can purcase it at her shop.

I used it together with this cute image from A Day For Daisies. Which I have coloured with ProMarkers. Also added some texture behind the image with my ProMarkers.

I used a paper with some newsprint and a blue romantic paper from Maja Design. Lots of embellishments like white thick lace, flowers, blue brads, some wooden embellishment, punched out leaves and die cut hearts on string.

I have distressed the edges with an edge scraper and also used brown chalk. Did some machine stitces along around the card and image too.

Hi,

have you missed me?

I have taken a little time of my blog to enjoy my last days of holiday,

but I have not taken time of crafting so I got a few things to show you now.

So first up will be a card I made to my Dad´s name day.

He likes birds so I used a pretty bird stamp from A Day For Daisies.

I think this card turned out romantic but still with a masculine touch. 

I have coloured with ProMarkers. Added a bit of glitter on the wings and the white flower but it´s hard to see on the photo. Used a lot of left over papers from my stash. Think I managed to use five different papers. Also added some flowers, pearl and lace. Feathers are die cuts using a die from Joy.

Recycle it...

Thank you everyone who played along with our Lazy Summer theme last week at Crafty Catz. I had a great time visiting you and I can tell you that there was a lot of things that I like to do during summer.

This weeks them over at

She challenge us to 

Recycle it

That means we want you to use something that normally would end up in the bin. You can use it as a embellishment or up cycle it to for a new purpose. So let´s see what you come up with....

I have used some old stamps like these

I then used them to make a background. I first used Mod Podge to glue some old book pages to my cardstock. I then coloured my piece with distress stains - vintage photo and peeled paint.

When it dried I glued the stamps on top of it. I then put more stain and gesso on top of it to make it blend. I used embossing enamel powder to make it bling and add texture.

I embossed a sentiment from AC and two snails from Magnolia with black powder. 

I used a black frame from my local shop and then added a stamp from ADFD that I coloured with ProMarkers and Faber Castel pencils. I also added a lot of pretty flowers.

I done a CASE...

This fortnights challenge over at A Day For Daisies has been to do a CASE, Copy And Share Everything. I have CASEd the same card as one of ADFD DT members did. Broni has a wonderful blog called Splashes of watercolor and she has made the sweetest spring card I seen. You can find it here!

This is my card

I have used ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils to colour the image from ADFD. I also added some pink and blue stickles to the image.  I used two different MME papers and I think they simply look gorgeous together. The sentiment is a freebie from TLC.
