Just Because

Hi there,

it´s time for a new challenge over at

RUBY´S RAINBOW CHALLENGE BLOG

This time our theme is picked by my talented team mate Debbie

The theme for this fortnight is

JUST BECAUSE

I made a paper to wrap a little gift with. I used a normal brown paper bag. I open and flated it and then used a stamp that I like. I tried to stamp an even pattern over the paper. 

  When I wrapped the gift the pattern didn´t come out so even so I decided to add some hand writing and doodling. I also used a brown glitter pen to add some details to the stamped images. The sentiment says: Just Because in Swedish.

Added purple twine, some pearls and a metal flower charm. Also doodle some little swirly bits, here and there.

Remember that you can enter with any kind of project as long as it follows the theme.

I made a card

I used an image from Paper Nest Dolls called Love Strung. I have coloured it with ProMarkers and Faber Castel pencils. I used journaling cards from Prima called Coffee Break, you can find them at En Liten butik. These work great to use as a design paper I think. I also used a chipboard banner with the word gorgeous. Quite simple but I didn´t think it needed any more.

This is what I made

I used sponging technique to make the moon behind the banners. I love how it turned out. This is my first time. But I will absolutely try this again.

This is what I made

I used a cardboard word that I coloured with some Inka Gold. 

I have used some enamel embossing powder. I have chalked all the edges and also the die cuts edges. The paper is from Maja Design - I think it´s so pretty!

I used a lot of different dies and a few very pretty orange brads.

This image from Scribbles Design´s is called Carrier Summer Diva.

I have used a warm yellow paper to give it a warm feel. I used a die cut to make the frame behind the image and also the waves. Some black rhinestones and a flower with an eyelet. 

I have coloured her with ProMarkers and Faber Castel pencils. I used some stickles on the drink and jug.

Used the same paper on the inside.

I have used two different rubber stamps for my project.

I made a matchbox and tried to make it feel summery.

The sweet little girl is a Bildmålar stamp and I have coloured her with my ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. The sentiment stamp is stamped with blue ink and then embossed with clear powder.

Hi again ... hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday! I have done some shopping and trying to shift my craft room  with our bigger work room. It´s a huge process but I sure it will all be worth it when I´m in. Just a bit hard to craft in the mess, lol!

I used my doily behind this cute hippo from Pollycraft. I coloured with my ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils.

 I used both white and pink Enamel powder to make the glimmer spots on the blue paper and also to cover all of the heart...

Loose Tooth - song lyric

I've got a loose tooth. I'm pretty sure for real 
that it's a loose tooth. Put your finger here and feel it -

You can tell it's really loose; I'll let you wiggle it a little.

I say hello to Mrs. Corey
in the cafeteria line.
She says "How's that loose tooth doing?"
I say "It's doing fine."
But that "F" in "Fine" makes my loose tooth pop right 
out of my mouth like a shot.
It flies across the counter and it 
lands in the chili pot!

Now it's a lost tooth. Don't let it cause concern
it's just a lost tooth - if you find it please return it
it's a lost tooth - I sure it won't attack,
but I'm really really sorry if your chili bites you back!

Did I show you my loose tooth?
Well I lost it just today.
Sure there's a new tooth coming in now,
but there's a great big hole where the old one went away.
I really miss that loose tooth and all the
fun times we had.
I guess you can tell by now
that without my tooth I've been feeling really...
I'm feeling sort of... I feel a little...

Hey, wait a minute.... Guess what!

when I show my teacher - I'm gonna lose a molar!

"Look out Tooth Fairy - here I come!"

I made this layout about my daughter loosing her first tooth! She was a bit scared when it started to wobble. We were at my Mum´s place and had just finished a bbq when I saw that her tooth was gone! I asked where is your tooth? And she answers, I spat it out on the ground. So there we were, the hole family crawling on the decking looking for her tooth! Luckily we found it and she put it in a cup of water to the tooth fairy.
