 I used a sweet stamp called Detective Doggy from Meljens Design. Loves Rubberstamps has some of her gorgeous images, you can find them here

I have coloured with ProMarkers and than added some spots to his fur using a blender pen.

I used paper and embellishments from Prima´s Coffee Break collection.

I fussy cut the dog and added him to a journaling card. I cut along the coffee cup so I could slide him down behind. I then added some die cut hearts.

Quality time with my dd

Hi again,

Hubby and son went and watched some ice-hockey today

so my dd and I got some time to scrap together.

She turns 8 next week and I love how creative she has become.

We just found Rob´s Art Hub, and she loves to watch the videos 

and make her own copies of the art projects.

Today I made another card with a lot of spots.

I used an image I had for a long time but that I have never used. I love this cheeky little frog. I got him from Meljen´s Design. Isn´t he gorgeous?

I have coloured with ProMarkers and some Faber Castell pencils.

I added a little bit of shimmer on his spots with a green gel pen.

Decided to keep the card simple and only used a spotty paper from a paper pack I got from En liten Butik. (Pop over there to find out more.) I also used white and black cardstock and used a die to cut out the word.

I want spring...

Hi again,

I am back with my card using one of Meljen´s cute image.

She makes the most adorable images, don´t you think?

I used a lot of green - I so want it to be spring soon!

I also played with the tic-tac-toe board from Meljen´s,

I used Ribbon, brads and pearls.

 

I have coloured the image with my ProMarkers. Added the brads to the image. 

As embellishment I used flowers, ribbon, punched out butterflies and pearls. The sentiment is stamped with a brown colour and then embossed with a clear powder.

Hi again,

this is my second post for today, but hey it´s Saturday!

I have used this sweet image from Meljen´s Design 

to make a little bit different Valentine´s card. 

I decided not to use red and pink. Insteed I used the colours of my

favourite Australian football teams colours - black and yellow.

I have used only three colours - orange, pink and grey.

I colour with ProMarkers and used:

Burnt Orange, Spice and Apricot

Coral, Sunkissed Pink and Almond

Warm Grey 3 and Warm Grey 1

The sentiment is a freebie from Create with TLC.

I used some black eyelets, black twine and used a die from Joy to make some small banners. Added some fauxe stitching with a black pen.

Laugh out Loud

is the theme over at Meljen´s Challenge blog this week. They want you to use a funny sentiment. When I saw this weekends freebie called Happy Little Cupcake I couldn´t resist to make this card:

I used this image as an inspiration to my colouring and also those yummy frosted cupcakes, the flower pattern and stitching from the napkin.

I continue to use up left over papers from my scrap stash. It feels so good. These are two different papers one from MME and the other is MejaDesign. Also used some old stickers and buttons.

The sentiment is also a freebie from TLC. I  love the fun sentiments that you can get there! I coloured with ProMarkers and used a white gel pen and some stickles to make it look even more yummy.

Monochromatic Lion

This is a little card I made this weekend. Think it will fit as a Birthday card later on, don´t you think?

The cute stuffed lion is this weekends freebie at Meljen´s Facebook group. I have coloured him with my ProMarkers. I think he is adorable!

I used only blue colours to fit Meljen´s Monochromatic challenge. Think it turned out pretty well. The blue paper is JilliBean Soup and the other two are from my scrap stash. Think the light blue one is BoBunny.

Bookworm...

I love books at the moment I read a Swedish author called Fredrik Backman. This is his first book and it´s called "A man called Ove" .

This is well worth reading. It´s easy to read, fun (I find myself sitting smiling all the time) and a very well told love story...

 Meljen´s Challens Blog has a challenge called Bookworm. You have to find inspiration from a book. I would love to do something from "A man called Ove" but since Melissa was so kind and provided an image from Alice in Wonderland. I decided to use that one. I combined it with another image from Meljen´s called Big Sweater Kid. I had this one for a while but have not used it before. I used fall colours to match his big sweater.

I used a paper with lots of text on it (like a book). I sprayed it with a glimmer mist from Tattered Angels it shimmers beautiful but unfortunately you can´t see that very well. I have coloured with ProMarkers and Faber Castel pencils. Also added some stickles and a few dew drops.

Also added a sentiment freebie from Create with TLC. I thought this was perfect with a birthday book theme...

I found a new to me challenge blog called 2 Cute Ink. Their theme this week is AG so I´ll have a go. will you?

Christmas in July...

Sketch time...

My dd is invited to a Castle Party on Thursday night. They are visiting a real "fairy tale" castle called Ekenäs and they can dress up as knights, princesses or princes. Sound so much fun, don´t you think. I made this card for her to bring to her frind Ville. Of course I picked a creature from the fairy tale!

Isn´t he so cute? You find him at Meljen´s design. I used some of the papers from my stash, an old Kaiser Kraft paper. Draw with a green gel pen to make the dots and star stand out a bit. Hard to see on the picture but they shimmer. Also used my sawing machine to stitch in the middle and around the edges. Cut out three bits of black fence with a die and placed along the bottom. Draw some stitches around the image.
