It´s Digi Darla Time!

It´s time for a new challenge over at Digi Darla.

 This week we want to see Masculine cards.

I have used a great image and sentiment all in one. You can find it here. It´s called DD Nothing makes a fish bigger word art. I think it´s perfect for all those men who loves fishing.

 Used a lot from my stash box today. Both pappers and the buttons. Also found the fishing rod that been laying in my draw for nearly 5 years I think. Feels good to finally come to use.

 Used two different ribbons as well. Made a pretty bow with one between some eyelets and the spotty got used as a divider.

Lots and lots of chalk was used to get the image to look a bit worn and old. I used my ProMarkers and Faber Castell to colour in and last I put on a lot of sparkly dots using my stickles. 

Decided to link this to Simon Says Stamp Challenge and have a second go. Never know...

Well I just wanted to make sure that you don´t forget about our challenge called

All you have to do is to make a project for a special lady in your life and add flowers some how. It can be your Mum, sister, friend or someone you like a lot.

I have made this gift bag with a tag telling my Mum that she is the worlds greatest MUM.

I used this super cute digi called Brrr-my-valentine. I think he is perfect on this tag, don´t you think? I kept the tag clean and simple since I wanted the image to have the main focus. Used some black twine and then a lot of different fonts to write my message. Also used some more hearts to give it that little extra. You can find Brrr-my-valentine here if you like him!

Realized that I probably need a brake. My head is not working. Can you see any flowers on this one? No! Not me either! If you want to play along with us at Scribbles design you have to add flowers. What a roll model I am. Anyway to save myself a bit. I gave this food gift to my mother together with these flowers and a matching ribbon.

Storybook or Nursery Rhyme

is the new theme on our new challenge at Crafty Catz. The challenge starts today and is picked by me. It´s my first challenge so I hope you like it. We want you to get inspired by a storybook, a storybook character or a Nursery Rhyme and use that to make a card.

This is what I made:

I got inspired by the nursery rhyme Horsey, Horsey, don´t you stop - let your feet go clippety clop.

 Used some things that I thought fitted the cowboy image, like the thicker string, some stars, a gun charm. I used heps of chalk to make the papers look worn and old.

I wrote the nursery rhyme around the edge with a white gel pen. I have coloured with my ProMarkers and Faber castel pencils.

New challenge at Digi Darla

Finally I got some time over to update my blog. Life is so busy right know with a school play to organize, write about pupils before term ends, practice biking before my 100 km ride in two weeks, organize kids and things they need to daycare, cooking food.... yep the list goes on and on and on....


Anyway a....life´s good!

Today is the start of a new great challenge over at Digi Darlas. The theme this week is Father´s Day. We don´t celebrate Father´s Day until autumn here in Sweden but now I will be prepared in good time...

I have used the cutest image called Daddy´s Shoulders and you can find it here! Pretty sure this one is a good treasure.

I made this card:

Used my Promarkers as usually and a little bit of shading with my Faber Castell pencils.  I love this bright coloured paper with a lot of trees. Think it will fit Simon Says Stamp challenge this week too - it´s Into the wood...
