Time for a layout....

Was a time ago since I last showed you a layout. This time I made a simple layout about how hard it can be to get a good photo of my son. But in the same time there are no other place I rather be- he always make me smile....

New Challenge at Ruby´s Rainbow...

We have just started a new challenge over at
Ruby´s Rainbow.
We had so many wonderful entries last fortnight to the theme texture and we hope you will like this challenge as much as we do....

This fortnights theme is

MONOCHROMATIC GREEN + 1 OTHER

For this challenge we want to see all shades of green + 1 other colour only.

Don't forget you can make anything you like as we are a multi crafts challenge so long as you keep to the theme, that could be Cards, Scrapping, Tags, Fat pages, Atcs, Knitting etc.

I made a little project to put on the fridge. I used this adorable little digi stamp from Whimsie Doodles and made a "shopping list spot". I used an old cereal box to make it. I covered piece of cereal box I cut out with some old paper from my scrap stash. Then glued a kraft notepad and added some embellishments as washi tape, pearls and buttons on it.

I coloured the digi with my ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. I also added a little "shopping list" to her free hand.

Frames are a great way to draw attention to an item on your page helping to create a focal point. They are also very versatile and can create quite an impact on your project. So, this month we want you to use a frame somewhere on your creation. We can't wait to see what you come up with.

I made this little reminder for my self, that I am good the way I am and that I can do more things then I sometimes think I can. So I put this on the inside of my calender to keep me going....

I have used frame 4 and a sentiment called I Can Quote.

I have had a lot of fun using a lot of metallic folie to make the frame shine...

Colour Challenge

This is what I made with one of the sponsor images Weekend Walter!

I coloured him with my ProMarkers and Faber Castel pencils. To make him pop up I used some 3-d squares.

I used three different papers and chalked around the edges with black chalk.

My DT card for Crafty Catz

Wow, I hope you like my card today....

I think it came up so well....

But lets start from the beginning. We got a new challenge for you over at Crafty Catz this week.

Anything Goes

I used one of the images we got sponsored with and made this

I printed out two of this image. The first one I coloured with my ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. The second one I cut out. Then I added the background using different shades of blue mist. I also added some white chunky enamel embossing powder.

When it dried I cut out my flowers and attached them with 3d glue dots. Some of them I glued straight on the background to create different highs. I also added some gold metallic folie in the middle of the flowers and above to make it sparkle a bit more.
