Sew Perfect....

I made a card with this weekends freebie from Meljen´s Design. I love Melissa´s cute images and they are so fun to colour and create with. This week we got one of the sentiments that I have been so close to buy a few times... A perfect image for Father´s Day projects.

I used papers from EP, simply love these!!! I put dark green cardstock underneath the pattern papers. I stitched with both sewing machine and did some faux stitches with a black pen.

Used candies for embellishment. Coloured them with my ProMarkers. Also coloured the image with ProMarkers and then used a gold gel pen to add a bit of sparkle....

Inspired by a song...

I am celebrating Sweden´s National Day today. We got warm weather, sun and good food for the bbq tonight. Not bad right?

This is what I made

Have coloured the image with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. Like how the orange and yellow pops out against the brown and aqua. Used some little 3-d birds that I bought in Australia. Also a few orange brads.

The sentiment comes from Inky Impression and I thought it fitted the BugaBoo image so well. Have you guest the song yet?

Take a nap...

When I saw this image at Di´s Designs I thought it would be perfect for a male summer card. My dad has recently retired and to be able to do whatever you feel like must be nice, don´t you think? My Dad is so important to me and I wish him all the best.

I kept the card very clean and simple since I wanted the picture to be the main focus! Only added a few black buttons and rhinestones and the sentiment. All papers and sentiment come from En Liten Butik.

I have coloured with ProMarkers only this time. Tried to make some fur by doing dots. Don´t know if it turned out ok. What do you think? But I made the pattern on his t-shirt and I love how that turned out! Did some stitches around the edge with a black pen.

Sketch time...

My dd is invited to a Castle Party on Thursday night. They are visiting a real "fairy tale" castle called Ekenäs and they can dress up as knights, princesses or princes. Sound so much fun, don´t you think. I made this card for her to bring to her frind Ville. Of course I picked a creature from the fairy tale!

Isn´t he so cute? You find him at Meljen´s design. I used some of the papers from my stash, an old Kaiser Kraft paper. Draw with a green gel pen to make the dots and star stand out a bit. Hard to see on the picture but they shimmer. Also used my sawing machine to stitch in the middle and around the edges. Cut out three bits of black fence with a die and placed along the bottom. Draw some stitches around the image.

I used the super cool Dirt Bike Mike from Kenny K

I have coloured him with my ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. The papers are from MME. Think they are perfect boy papers. Added some photo corners (dies) and some cogs (dies). I have doodle some stitches around the edges.
