Hello dear friends,

a late post again

it´s still Friday here in Sweden even though not for so much longer

Today we have celebrated Midsummer. So it´s been a great but long day. We have danced "The Little Frog Dance", eaten a ton of strawberries and pickled haring. The only thing we didn´t even attempt this year was eating outside. It has been raining cats and dogs all day....

I have used an image from KennyK called Download Diva. 

You can find her here.

I have coloured her with ProMarkers. I never done anything like this before. But it was fun! I also used a sentiment from Create with TLC. Think it fitted this card perfectly.

I also picked a very bright and colourful paper to match her hair and the sentiment. I didn´t think this card needed so much embellishment since the pattern is quite bold. But I used some old brads in the same colours as her hair to finish the card.

I have actually made four different cards with this little fellow. I am giving them away to my son´s teachers, wishing them a Happy Summer!

I got to play with this adorable little kitten...

called Sunflower Kitten

I have coloured her with ProMarkers. I used a few different flowers in bright summer colours. Some pearls and swirly greens, butterflies and a summer sentiment to top it off!

I have used the new released image. Can you guess who she is inspired by?

I love this sentiment which is also a freebie from Create with TLC. Thought it fitted perfect with this adorable lady. I added some washi tape on the top and bottom of my card. I die cut the heart. Added a metal cloth hanger and some flowers.

I have altered a notebook this time and made it into a recipe book.

I used a image that I got as a freebie from Create with TLC. Isn´t she gorgeous?

I tear of the edges and then inked them with a brown chalk.

I destressed all edges to make them look older. I used an edge scraper and then inked them with brown chalk.

I used a few different ribbon, strings and laces to add some interest to the binding. Also added a few different die cuts, charms, paper clips.

Hope you liked it! I had planed to give it away but now I´m not sure that I can.

This is what I made. I used a stamp called Tropical Fish 2.
